TUTOR PROFILES

Graham is an experienced educator with 30 years in the classroom and 8 years of private tutoring experience. He has taught all levels from KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A Level, consistently helping students achieve at least one grade above their predicted results in both GCSE and A Level Computer Science.

For the last two years, Graham has been Head of Computer Science at a high-performing all-girls boarding school. Before that, he taught for many years as a Head of Department in both state and independent secondary schools. He also spent 15 years as Head of IT/Computer Science in a sixth form college, managing a team of six staff and over 200 students. Alongside teaching, Graham has worked as a network manager and software developer, bringing valuable real-world experience into his lessons.

Graham has a proven record of outstanding results, most recently achieving a 100% pass rate at GCSE, with 83% of students achieving Grades 7–9.

He specialises in GCSE and A Level Computer Science across all exam boards and provides expert programming support in Python, Java, VB, PHP, JavaScript, React, C#, ASP, Delphi, and some MVC frameworks. Graham also offers specialist support in spreadsheets, databases, and network management and has experience teaching KS2 and KS3 Maths.

Outside of teaching, Graham enjoys cycling, going to the gym, snooker, drawing, playing piano and guitar, and DIY projects.
