Zoe Dyer
Zoe is an experienced Drama and Performing Arts teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. She is Head of Drama and has built a thriving Drama department within a secondary school, developing strong extra-curricular provision, industry experiences and links with professional theatre companies.
She has experience teaching A Level Drama, GCSE Drama, BTEC and Level 3 Performing Arts. Zoe has led a small team, created resources for a range of new schemes of work, and developed KS3 curriculum pathways alongside vocational routes at KS4 and KS5 in response to government guidelines.
Zoe has specialist expertise in the KS4 vocational curriculum and Level 3 OCR Performing Arts Technicals. She also has experience collaborating with Media and Music departments to create meaningful cross-curricular links that support students’ wider creative development.
She is particularly passionate about whole-school shows, musicals and productions. Her approach encourages students to build confidence, take creative risks and “give it a go, before you say no.”
Outside the classroom, Zoe is a passionate crafter who enjoys sewing her own clothes and making gifts for others. She is also an enthusiastic baker, a begrudging 5k runner and an obsessed dog mum.
